Update on Real Estate and COVID-19 Restrictions
After Governor Scott’s April 24th amendment to his Executive Order, the Vermont Agency of Commerce released industry specific guidance permitting real estate agents and landlords to show properties to one person at a time. If all individuals are people living in the same household, the one person at a time restriction does not apply.
This is a good time for buyers looking for a house to now view properties and sellers to show them. Landlords will also be able to show and rent available properties. There are still restrictions in place that require any one from coming from out of state to view property to quarantine in Vermont for 14 days upon arrival, so the market favors local buyers.
