Jennifer was a shareholder in Marsh & Wagner, P.C. from 2002 to 2023 when that firm dissolved and she began the solo firm of Wagner Law.  She works primarily in the areas of family, juvenile, adoptions, wills, probate, landlord/tenant, civil litigation, personal injury, administrative hearings and appeals.

Attorney Wagner has served in the past on the board of the Vermont Bar Foundation as secretary, and as a chair of the Grant and Publicity Committees. The Vermont Bar Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to funding legal services for needy Vermonters. She is highly active in the community having served as Vice-President of the Maiden Vermont Chorus, Inc. (a non-profit women’s barbershop chorus located in Addison County), and on the board of the Addison County Parent/Child Center. She is the current Town Moderator for Bristol.

A graduate of Northeastern University School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts, Jennifer returned to Vermont in 1996. While at Northeastern, Jennifer Wagner received professional training through internships as a law clerk to Justice Denise Johnson of the Vermont Supreme Court, a legal assistant to the Vermont Agency of Natural Resources, an advocate in the Mental Health Law Project of Vermont Legal Aid, and as legal assistant at Schoenberg and Associates (later the Schoenberg Group of Downs, Rachlin & Martin in Burlington, Vermont).  After law school, Jennifer spent four years learning the intricacies of litigation and the Vermont court system as law clerk for the judges of the Superior, Criminal and Family Courts of Rutland, Vermont.

“Jennifer Wagner is a full mixture of friendly and knowledgeable among many other professional aspects she possesses. She is clear, precise, accessible and, most importantly, very effective. I will highly recommend Jennifer’s services to anyone needing any sort of legal counsel or representation. I couldn’t be happier with my experience at Wagner Law.” -Scott B. 2015
